Photography has been part of my life for more than 75 years, but it wasn't until 2020 that I began to discover my voice as a photographic artist. When the world suddenly became smaller, I began looking closely at what was right in front of me. My garden, the reflections in a nearby stream, the textures of trees, and especially the tiny worlds hidden within dewdrops became subjects of endless discovery. What began as my Close to Home project, evolved into something much more personal. It became a way of seeing and interpreting the ordinary through color, light, form, and imagination. My photographs are not only records of what I see. They are expressions of what I discover, and become invitations to others to look beyond the familiar and find something unexpected. These galleries are my way of sharing those discoveries with you.
