Dewdrop Inspirations

My fascination with dewdrops began with a simple discovery. Something so small, so ordinary, and so easily overlooked could contain an entire world. Over time, that fascination has grown into one of the most important explorations in my photography. What began as an effort to capture the beauty of a dewdrop has evolved into something quite different. I began looking beyond the drop itself, discovering reflections, unexpected shapes, colors, and compositions that transformed familiar subjects into something new. Some photographs remain recognizable as dewdrops. Others become landscapes, abstract compositions, or images that seem to exist somewhere between photography and painting. Each is different. Each offers another possibility. Today, dewdrops have become a central part of my artistic work—not because I have exhausted the possibilities of other subjects, but because I continue to discover something new each time I return to them. These photographs are an invitation to look beyond what first meets the eye, to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary.
